Congratulations on being the owner of a precious Naveya & Sloane piece. Our jewellery is designed and crafted to stand the test of time, but like anything, care must be taken with anything that is worn on a regular basis. Here you’ll find all you need to know about getting your Naveya & Sloane jewellery serviced and repaired.
Engagement Ring Service Concierge
They may be made from some of the strongest precious materials, but jewellery, like anything precious, needs to be looked after and maintained over its lifetime to ensure it can be enjoyed by generations to come.
Your engagement ring will enjoy three complimentary services after purchase taking it through the first 5 years of its life. We recommend the first service after a year, then every 2 years there after.
Here we’ll give your beautiful ring a full check-up, where we will check and tighten any gemstone settings, professionally clean it and give it a full polish. We’ll also be able to advise you if there is any maintenance or repair work required.
Getting your ring serviced is easy, just follow these steps:
- If you’re able to drop your ring into our Queen St showroom located at 44 Queen St, Auckland CBD, we’d love to see you, otherwise follow the steps below to send your ring to us for servicing or repairs.
- If you’re sending your ring from outside of Auckland (within New Zealand), please complete and submit our Service Request form here with your details.
- Read our ‘How to send it’ information in the FAQ’s below.
- Safely package your ring (see below instructions in FAQ’s) and pop it in a courier post bag or box.
- IMPORTANT: Be sure to include your full name and phone number in the ‘Sender’ Details section on the postage bag/box so we know who the beautiful piece belongs to.
- Put your parcel in the post between Mon-Thurs and send your tracking number to engagement@naveyasloane.com the same day you send it for insurance purposes. We’ll let you know once it has safely made it to our showroom.
- The service will be completed and we’ll let you know if there is any maintenance or repairs required at which point this would also be completed.
- We will courier your ring back to the delivery address provided in your Service Request form. Please note there is a $10 courier fee
SERVICE REQUEST FORM
We recommend using NZ Post and sending your parcel between Monday - Thursday. Please send it via 'Tracked & Signature Required' courier. Please supply the tracking number to engagement@naveyasloane.com the same day it is sent for insurance purposes. In the description on the tracking form for the package, please write ‘sending for repair’ rather than jewellery or ring. This is for security reasons only, to ensure your item is covered by our insurance. We will inform you once we have received your package safely. Once your repair or service is complete, we will send your ring back to you the same way, to the address provided in your form. Please send your parcel to the following address: Front of House, Naveya & Sloane, Level 3 Imperial Building, 44 Queen St, Auckland 1010, New Zealand.
Place your jewellery safely in a ring or jewellery box and place this in a courier bag or box to send to us. We recommend using a Size 1 box, which can be purchased from any Post Office.
For items valued at $50,000 or above, please contact us on engagement@naveyasloane.com for further information regarding sending your piece.
Approximately 10 working days, we'll let you know if there is any variation to this timeframe.
Of course, additional services for any piece of N&S jewellery in our workshop are $75.00 + postage (if you're based out of Auckland).
Absolutely, provided you follow the ‘How to send’ instructions above.
Providing you follow the instructions of ‘How to send’ your piece, and send us your tracking details, your beautiful ring will be covered by insurance during its journey to us and then back to you.
Absolutely, please complete the above Service Request Form it and we can arrange to have your ring re-rhodium plated. The cost is $75.00.
We offer a professional cleaning service using our ultrasonic tool, this is complimentary for all Naveya & Sloane pieces and you are welcome to pop in anytime with your piece, just ask at Front of House. For a full polish of your piece, please complete the Service Request form and either drop your piece off or send it to us as per instructions above.
Unfortunately we only offer servicing for Naveya & Sloane pieces.
It will depend how much the ring size needs to be changed by. Normally a resize will cost $60-$250.
We'd love to welcome you into the showroom where we can help you choose a size that feels comfortable. If you're based outside of Auckland, we recommend popping into a local jeweller to get the correct size, or if you have a ring at home that fits your finger, get in touch as we have a ring sizing document that we can send you.
Due to their unique and complex manufacturing, Tennis Bracelets and Chains require additional care. As fine jewellery pieces, both chains and tennis bracelets are recommended for occasional wear, frequent wear is likely to reduce the lifetime of the piece.
We recommend service assessments after the first six months of purchase and then every year thereafter.
